Our Earl Grey mint loose leaf tea Lady Londonderry is a bright, refreshing afternoon blend that pairs aromatic bergamot with cool, clean mint over a smooth black tea base. Fragrant, lively and beautifully balanced, it offers classic Earl Grey citrus depth with a lighter, fresher finish — an elegant cup for afternoon tea, especially alongside delicate sandwiches, shortbread or a warm scone.
Earl Grey Mint Loose Leaf Tea for Afternoon Drinking
Lady Londonderry is a distinctive house blend designed with the afternoon cup firmly in mind. It takes the floral citrus warmth of Earl Grey and adds a measured note of mint, creating a tea that feels refined, refreshing and gently uplifting in character.
The bergamot gives the blend its familiar aromatic depth, while the mint lifts the finish and keeps the cup bright from first sip to last.
Bergamot Citrus with a Cool Mint Finish
In the cup, this Earl Grey mint loose leaf tea brews to a rich amber-copper liquor with a fresh, inviting aroma. The first impression is classic Earl Grey: softly floral, citrusy and smooth.
Then the mint arrives, clean and cooling, sharpening the edges of the bergamot without overwhelming it. The result is a well-judged balance of warmth and freshness that feels especially suited to the middle of the day.
A Refined House Blend with Real Character
This is a tea for those who enjoy Earl Grey but want something a little more individual. The mint makes the blend feel lighter and more vivid, while the black tea base gives it enough substance to remain satisfying.
It is elegant without being delicate, aromatic without becoming overpowering and versatile enough to enjoy either black or with a small splash of milk.

Lovely with Afternoon Tea
Lady Londonderry sits beautifully beside delicate sandwiches, buttery shortbread or a well-made scone. Its citrus and mint notes give it a freshness that complements lighter teatime foods particularly well.

How to Brew Lady Londonderry Earl Grey Mint Tea
Use freshly boiled water cooled slightly to around 95°C. Add one heaped teaspoon per cup and steep for 3 to 4 minutes.
A 3-minute brew gives a brighter, more mint-led cup. A 4-minute infusion brings out more body from the black tea base and a fuller bergamot character.
For a stronger result, extend towards 5 minutes, though the blend is at its most balanced within the shorter brewing range.

Black tea, bergamot flavouring, mint.
