Coal Harbour Proud to Support the Fire Fighters Charity and the Southwest Firefighter Challenge

A Silver Lining at the Southwest Firefighter Challenge

On Saturday 23rd May 2026, Coal Harbour was proud to attend and support the Fire Fighters Charity at the Southwest Firefighter Challenge — an incredible event celebrating the strength, dedication, and community spirit of firefighters across the country.

We're thrilled to share that our very own Coal Harbour team members, who serve as On-Call Firefighters in their local communities, took part in the challenge and came away with a well-deserved silver place finish in their age bracket. We couldn't be more proud of them.

Why We Support the Fire Fighters Charity

At Coal Harbour, we believe in giving back to the communities that support us. The Fire Fighters Charity provides vital support services to serving and retired firefighters, as well as their families — offering everything from mental health support to physical rehabilitation and financial assistance.

Our team's connection to the fire service runs deep. Our staff volunteer as On-Call firefighters, balancing their roles here at Coal Harbour with the incredible responsibility of protecting their local communities. Supporting the Fire Fighters Charity is something close to all of our hearts.

The Southwest Firefighter Challenge

The Southwest Firefighter Challenge is a gruelling test of fitness, teamwork, and resilience — designed to push participants to their limits while raising vital funds and awareness for the fire service community. Events like this shine a spotlight on the extraordinary commitment of firefighters across the UK, and we were honoured to be part of it.

A Huge Thank You

We want to extend a massive congratulations to our silver finisher — you represented Coal Harbour and the fire service with pride. And a heartfelt thank you to everyone who organises, participates in, and supports events like the Southwest Firefighter Challenge.
